That evening, after dinner,
Chiz strolled leisurely down the dimly lit hallway with some slight preparations.
The sky was getting dark, and the weather wasn't particularly good today. It was gloomy, as if the sky was about to collapse.
There is still a faint light outside the window, shining through the yellowed glass and creating a series of squares on the corridor that has yet to be illuminated by candlelight.
As he passed through a dark archway, a tall figure leapt out of a nearby shadow, and with a murmur of magic, Kees collapsed to the ground.
That shadow picked up Kiz, who had fallen to the ground, and disappeared silently into the darkness.
I don’t know how much time has passed.
"Hello there, Mr. Kiz! We meet again!" A slightly low male voice sounded in a dusty and deserted classroom.
"Really surprising! Isn't it? Few people can lie without changing their face under the effect of Veritaserum!" The voice's speed gradually accelerated, mixed with a faint annoyance. "But fortunately! Thanks to the foolish Mr. Hagrid, if he hadn't extracted a little bit of truth from his mouth, he would have really been deceived by you!"
Chizi slowly opened his eyes, twisted his body and found himself tied tightly to a wooden chair.
He recognized Kuhn's voice, "Sir, what are you doing? This doesn't seem like something a special investigator from the Ministry of Magic should be doing. Kidnapping a young wizard, even if you are a government official, is a serious offense!"
"I'm sorry, child. You need to know that I'm doing this out of necessity. As long as you tell me everything you know, you won't be harmed," the tall figure hidden in the shadows turned around, bowed down and stared at Qizhi's face.
Qizni squeezed his fist, but felt no feedback from the mechanical device on his arm.
"Are you looking for this?" Kuen's lips curved up slightly as he shook the mechanical device holding the wand. "It's a very interesting little gadget, isn't it? It's hard to be discovered when it's hidden, and it's also convenient to use! If I hadn't searched carefully, it would have been very difficult to find!"
“After all of this is over, I want to make my own!” he said, throwing it onto a dusty table.
In the last bit of light streaming through the window, Kiz looked up and saw Mr. Kuhn, who was leaning forward and staring at him. “I never expected it! Mr. Kuhn, your investigation skills are incredibly powerful. In just a few days, you found out!”
"Congratulations, you're getting closer to the real truth!" Chiz laughed. "But why did you bring a first-grade student like me here? The real culprit is sitting in the principal's office."
"As expected! You know it!"
"Since you really know something!" Kuhn seemed visibly excited, paused for a moment before continuing, "Well, kid! Now it's time to get to the point, tell me everything you know, and I may consider letting you go!"
"If I tell you, can you really let me go?"
"Of course! I always keep my word!"
"Okay, okay, that's good to hear. You should know that this secret has been weighing on my heart for a long time." Kaz pretended to take a deep breath and began to improvise. "W-w-well, Professor Quirrell is dead. He died in the Forbidden Forest and there's nothing left of him but bones. Dumbledore blew him to pieces."
"You have to know, you have to know..." Chiz sobbed uncontrollably, hunching over and crying out, "His shattered bones and flesh sprayed all over me at the time, do you know what that smells like? Some of it even..."
"Ah!" A low and painful groan came from the person on the other side.
"Professor Kilow, where is he? Tell me, where did he go? Tell me quickly, unless you want to taste a bit of bitterness!" The tall investigator suddenly lost his temper and shouted loudly. "No! My master! He will be fine."
"Take it easy, take it easy. Like I said, he might have turned into a pile of ash by now!" After hearing the answer he wanted, Kiz also restrained his expression and calmly said, "Along with the mysterious Mr. Hidden inside him!"
"You know! You know! You really know everything! Tell me, where is he?" Kuhn grabbed Qizi's collar and lifted him up along with the chair he was sitting on.
"Relax, relax!" Chiz reminded him calmly, without changing his expression. "Actually, the person you are truly looking for has nothing to do with anything. As long as you obtain what Dumbledore hid, you can bring him back to life!"
"You should know that it's a Philosopher's Stone, capable of granting immortality and even reviving the person you serve!"
"How do you know that?" Kuhn's face changed completely! He slammed his chair and himself onto the ground and took two steps back. "No, you shouldn't know these things, you're just a first-year student!"
"Yes! Yes! I know it doesn't make sense, but who can resist that kind of power?" He winced a bit from the impact with the ground, but continued speaking, "You see, the kind of great power you've always wanted can only be bestowed upon us by our magnificent Master!"
"So, as a first grader, of course I couldn't resist such a charming power!" Chiz showed a reminiscent expression. "That night, I went with that adult to the Black Forest to look for unicorns. You know, unicorn blood can replenish some of the strength for that adult, he was too weak!"
"Unfortunately! We were ambushed right after killing a unicorn..."
"You're lying!" A desperate scream interrupted Cheeze's narrative.
"Oh, if you say so, does it matter?" Cheeze smirked and replied.
He laughed inwardly, "These Death Eaters whose brains were burnt by dark magic are really funny! They look serious and scholarly in normal times, but as soon as their master is mentioned, they go crazy like manic monkeys! Hysterical!"
"This isn't important, right? The stone that Dumbledore hid is the most important!" Cheez continued when Kuhn didn't respond for a while.
"Do you know how to get it? Tell me now, or I'll kill you!" He finally got a response.
"Take it easy! Take it easy! The adult has already told me everything. I have always known where it is. I just didn't have the opportunity or the help. Now that I have met you, maybe we can work together to get it!"
"I don't believe you!" Kuhn's tone was full of skepticism.
"If you really want to get that stone, please let me go! I won't sound the alarm, I promise! I know where it is! I can even take you to get it, and I have no reason to deceive you, right?"
"If you don't believe me, I can reveal a message to you. Didn't you receive an order from that big shot a few days ago, asking you to use a dragon egg to lure Hagrid to reveal the way to control the three-headed dog?"
Kuhn looked skeptical, "Go on!"
"Do you know how to quiet down Lu Wei? Of course it's music, I believe this should be the message that the boss instructed you to extract from Hagrid!" He paused, "Can you believe me now? Look! After all, the boss even told me such an important message!"
Kuhn took him down from the chair, but still didn't untie him. "Take me to see it. I don't believe anything you say unless I see the real Philosopher's Stone. Don't even think about playing tricks. Dumbledore has been taken away by our people today, along with most of the school's professors. Only an old lady is left in the school. Think about it! She can't stop me!"
"Okay, okay! I know, I know! Why don't you believe me?" Kees said indifferently. "Follow me, you should know the location of that door!"
Half an hour later, the bell for lights out echoed through Hogwarts. Only then did they arrive at the door that kept the way to Fluffy, "Are you ready to play the harp? Only that thing can quiet down the big fellows inside!"
Kuhn didn't reply, but instead he pulled out a gold harp from his invisible production belt. He waved his wand and the harp strings started vibrating on their own, creating gentle music. The little golden mermaid on the harp also came to life, emitting beautiful songs.
"I warn you for the last time, don't even think about running!" said Kuhn, waving his wand and causing the ropes binding Chiz to fall off by themselves.
"Why would I? I am about to obtain the object that can bring our great master back to life. I thirst for power more than you can imagine!" He pulled the ropes off his body and rubbed his numb arms and wrists.
"Open Sesame!" Koen exclaimed and the door lock automatically popped open.
"Go push the door!" he signaled to Zhi.
Zhi walked over and carefully pushed open the door.
Kun carried a huge harp and followed behind.
The music was indeed effective. As soon as they entered, Louie was already alert and baring his teeth at them. However, upon hearing the soft music, his six eyes instantly drooped, and then each of his three heads let out a yawn.
Three long strands of saliva dripped down.
The middle head lowered down and sniffed the ground, while the other two heads followed suit and the massive body began to spin in circles.
Very soon! It lay down, fell into a deep sleep and emitted a snoring sound.
Kun was about to cast a spell to move its huge body away from the cellar door.
Qi Zhi waved his hand to stop him, "The real path is not over there, it's just some Dumbledore's trick to deceive us!"
"Follow me!" Qi Zhi pulled out the key that Dumbledore gave him that morning, and felt his way along the wall.
"Sure enough!" he found a very inconspicuous keyhole on the wall and inserted the key into it. The wall made a clicking sound, and the tiles around the keyhole moved towards the four directions, quickly opening up a dark tunnel.
"How did you get it?" Kuhn looked very suspicious and became even more wary of Chease's behavior.
"What are you afraid of? I already made sufficient preparations before, I just lacked an assistant to execute the plan. Now that you're here, of course I can implement the plan!"
"Believe it or not? Otherwise, you stay here and I'll go in and get the Philosopher's Stone for you!" Qizi suggested, seeing his disbelief.
"No! Wait! Let's go in together. I don't think you can play any tricks!" Kuns thought for a moment, biting his wand against Qizi's back, "Lead the way!"
Are the props and supporting characters ready? Have you seen the protagonist hit the road?
......
Let's rewind a bit and approach dusk.
After parting ways with Keese, the three of them attended a class before heading to Hagrid's hut after class.
Just as they walked in, they noticed Hagrid was holding and admiring something in an extremely secretive and obsessive manner.
"What is that? Hagrid?" A sudden voice startled Hagrid, causing him to quickly hide the item he was holding under the table.
"Don't hide it, Hagrid, we all saw it, what is it?" Hermione spoke out to stop his actions.
"Alright! Alright!" Hagrid stood up and closed the door of the cabin, taking out the round object. He continued, "But you have to keep it a secret for me. This is the thing I have been most hoping for - a dragon egg!"
"Oh my god! This is so cool! It's real!" Ron exclaimed, "My brother works in the protected area and I've seen pictures of dragon eggs he sent back. They look exactly the same!"
Harry also exclaimed, "Cool! Hagrid, where did you get this from?"
"Where did you get it, Hagrid?" Ron said, stepping up to the table and scrutinizing the large egg more closely. "It must have cost you a fortune!"
"Won it." Hagrid began a long and rambling story. "It was the Christmas holidays and I was drinking in the village and playing cards with a stranger. To be honest, he was probably just hoping to get rid of it..."
"But do you know about this thing?" asked Hermione after Hagrid spoke for a while.
"Oh, I've been reading about it," said Hagrid, pulling out a thick book from under his pillow, "borrowed it from the library - 'Raising Dragons for Recreation and Profit' - of course, it's a bit outdated now, but the content is complete. You have to put the egg in the fire because their mother breathes on them..."
"Don't you think it's strange?" Hermione reminded Harry of their purpose for coming here. "Hagrid's biggest wish is to have a dragon, but a stranger just happens to have a dragon egg in his pocket? How many people walk around with dragon eggs all day? You have to know that's a violation of wizarding law! Don't you think they were just lucky to find Hagrid?"
So Harry interrupted Hagrid's incessant chatter.
"Wait a minute to finish! Hagrid, there's something I want to ask you. Do you remember what the stranger looked like who played cards with you and won Norbert on that night?"
