The events that followed initially went pretty much as Kiz had expected. The bottles sank one by one, and the explosive bottles inside started their countdown.
He flexed his sore wrist and counted down in his head while he cleared away the monsters that climbed up while he was making the explosive bottle. He then set up a circle of obstacles around the mud pool.
Until there were only 10 seconds left on the countdown, he abruptly put away his weapon and jumped outside the square, quickly arriving at a place far from the mud pit.
He swiftly waved his wand and surrounded himself with numerous heavy shielding barriers for protection.
“9!
8!
……
3!
2!
1!
Boom!"
With a loud thud, Chizh saw a huge column of mud splashing up from the mud pool. It didn't disperse into the air like a water column from a bomb explosion, but kept a pillar shape and rose straight into the sky.
The top layer of mud was pushed down into a flat shape by the ones below, like a gradually blooming giant black mushroom.
It continued to rise, swiftly swallowing the constantly spewing mud from the crack, and then reappearing from behind. At this moment, Cheez even saw the crack stop spewing mud.
Finally, it reached a position in the sky where super fluorescent flickers were floating, and it swallowed all the light into it.
The whole square lost all its illumination and plunged back into darkness.
Chiz began the countdown again, "3! 2! 1!"
"Boom! Bang!"
Two completely different explosion sounds rang out simultaneously, one in the sky and one deep in the mud pool.
The explosion in the sky was loud and piercing, instantly shattering the huge mushroom-shaped column of black mud in the sky, and a heavy rain of black mud fell within a large area.
The explosion deep in the mud pool was deep and majestic, causing the ground beneath Cheez's feet to tremble. This time, the mud pool did not spew out a huge mud column, but instead surged out countless streams of muddy water like a fountain, quickly covering the entire small square.
The simulator starts flashing with crazy prompts, without even looking, you know that this time it's definitely a windfall!
Black mud dots keep falling from the sky, smashing heavily onto the protective shield around him, making a popping sound. The land outside the shield is already ankle deep in mud and water.
The mud and water boiled like it was boiling, constantly bubbling and emitting increasingly dense black smoke.
With the faint light emitted from the fluorescent bottle, Haze could see the unformed monsters struggling in the boiling mud and water, melting at an extreme speed. The surrounding area probably looked equally horrifying.
Various eerie and mournful cries kept coming from the darkness, and the emulator's prompts had been uninterrupted since earlier.
Cheese attempted to fire another superfluous fluorescence outside of the protective barrier, but due to the excessive amount of monster deaths, the resulting black smoke was too dense. The superfluous fluorescence shot out and disappeared like a drop in the ocean, leaving only a tiny white speck hanging in the air as it got farther and farther away, completely failing to serve any illuminating purpose.
I originally wanted to appreciate my own masterpiece, Chiz, but I had to shift my attention to the constantly pulsating simulator panel.

Just as he was congratulating himself on his wise decision, suddenly the ground beneath his feet trembled. This was not the normal shaking caused by an exploding bottle, but it felt like a high-level earthquake was approaching.
At the same time, Kiz's intuition began to wildly warn him.
Without hesitation, he immediately pulled Alister out of the suitcase and urged him to take off crazily once he got on.
It seems Arisato also sensed the dire situation at the moment and didn't dwell on why Lancelot wasn't here. He swiftly flapped his wings and carried Chiz to the sky.
After takeoff, Chiz turned around and, by the faint light, he saw a huge crack opening at the spot where he had just been standing, as if something was about to erupt.
After that, everything became blurry and indistinct. As Alistair flew higher and higher, everything on the ground disappeared into the black mist.
Chiz was still looking back fearfully at the spot just now, and a strange image flashed through his mind. It seemed like something was crawling out of the ground, slippery and slimy, resembling a black mud monster but much larger.
The thunderous roar from below was still not subsiding. This sound was much more intense than the previous explosion, making Chiz dizzy and giving Alister an uneasy wail beneath her.
Flying in the sky did not give him much sense of security, and he began to urge Alister to quickly leave this village and flee to a distance.
But before they had flown far, Chiz's intuition once again crazily warned, "Alister! Hide quickly."
Alister seemed to sense the danger behind him and quickly shifted his body, flying forward in a vertical position.
Chiz also quickly gripped his wand, tightly grasping the dragon scales, and stared intensely in the direction that sent shivers down his spine.
"Shoo!"
A violent breaking sound came from beside them, and Qi Zi cast an explosive curse in that direction as that thing approached.
"Boom!"
A loud bang exploded extremely close, but it did not hinder the speed of that thing.
That thing passed almost just above Qiz's scalp, narrowly missing them. At this point, Alister had already completed a sidestep maneuver.
He even caught a glimpse of a part of the attacker appearing within the fluorescent bottle's illuminated area. It was a massive tentacle wrapped in dense black smoke, with the exposed part alone being two to three meters thick.
Chiz continued waving his wand, shooting a series of explosive curses before he retracted.
But what happened next shocked him. The black smoke on the small portion of tentacles hit by the explosive curse was dispersed, but it didn't cause any substantial harm to the tentacles themselves, not even a tiny wound was blown up.
He looked up and saw that the exposed part was covered with mottled scales, and there were countless round pores of various sizes on the side of the tentacles. Black mist continuously spewed out from the center of the pores, quickly enveloping the exposed part again.
This tentacle seemed to suddenly spring up from the ground and fiercely swung down at them. Alister's quick side step happened to evade its first attack.
As he swept past, a violent shockwave and a dense black mist followed immediately.
This shockwave directly launched Alister far away in the air, causing the whole dragon to lose balance and tumble in the sky for a long distance, almost throwing Chez off its back.
And so, the tentacles disappeared from his field of vision.
