Zen, as a practice based on stillness, originates from the instinct of living beings. It has been developed by ancient masters and has formed various systematic methods of cultivation, existing in various schools.
The meditation methods passed down by the ancient Buddha Qingchan can be divided into different types according to their characteristics, such as ascetic meditation and silent meditation. Among them, silent meditation is the most advanced.
In order to practice silent meditation, one must be a highly disciplined and wise enlightened monk.
When practicing the silent meditation, recite the scriptures daily to eliminate all hindrances and enhance one's cultivation.
However, the practitioner of the silent meditation must not open their mouth easily. Once they do, they will possess an unparalleled power surpassing those at the same level of cultivation. However, the cultivation of the silent meditation will be wasted after opening the mouth.
The practice levels of the Zen Buddhism taught by Qingchan Gufo are divided into four stages: Sangha, Arhat, Bodhisattva, and Buddha.
Among them, Sangha refers to practitioners who have cultivated good intentions and performed virtuous deeds, but have not yet attained the status of Arhat. They have not yet transcended the suffering of cyclic existence and are subject to the limitations of lifespan.
Arhat is an eminent monk who has attained enlightenment in the Zen sect. Those who have attained the position of Arhat have purified their six senses and eradicated ignorance and afflictions. Arhats have transcended birth and death and achieved the state of eternal life, and they can further progress to enter the state of Nirvana (the state of Bodhisattva).
One who pays respects to Bodhisattvas seeks supreme enlightenment through wisdom and benefits sentient beings through compassion. This person cultivates various Bodhisattva practices and will attain the fruition of a Buddha in the future.
One who attains the state of a Buddha possesses the unsurpassed Dharma and virtues, fully realizes the truth, achieves the fruition of a Buddha, and propagates the grand aspiration to benefit the world, guiding sentient beings towards goodness.
"Second junior disciple, our master has sacrificed himself to suppress the Huang Quan Swallowing Heaven Beast. We have lost the Heaven-reaching White Jade Pillar and the Sea-crossing Purple Gold Beam. Although Senior Chaos will protect us in the face of life and death crisis in the Zen teaching, Chaos is ultimately a quasi-saint like Ancestor Kun of Chaos, not a true representative of our Zen teaching. What should we do about this?"
As the eldest disciple among the three Zen masters, Master Ku Ye expressed his doubts and confusion first.
"For the current situation, we can only adapt to the changes by staying unchanged, and first fulfill the mission of preaching that the saints promised our master. By then, you and I, brothers, will have established our own temples with the protection of the saints. Under such circumstances, I believe Master Hun Kun will not make things too difficult. "This matter should not be delayed. I request Brother Kuyong to stay and guard the Holy Land of Ling Mountain. Brother Ershi and I will go to the East to spread the Dharma and promote the prestige of our Chan sect."

To achieve the level of the Grand Luo Golden Immortal, one needs to possess the longevity Dao fruit of the Grand Luo Golden Immortal and, during the infinite calamities, save the sentient beings and establish a teachings of the saint, and thus obtain the merits from establishing the teachings and saving the sentient beings to attain the status of a Saint of the Heavenly Dao.
To establish a great teaching of the sages, immeasurable merits and fortunes are required.
Given the current distribution of power in the world, with the rise of the demon race, in order to gather enough fortunes to establish a great teaching of the sages, it is necessary to make the dragon, phoenix, and qilin tribes commit irreversible mistakes and willingly hand over their own fortunes.
At this point, Hongjun decided to first put the Eight Treasures Merit Transformation Dragon Pool into his bag. As for dealing with the three tribes of dragons, phoenixes, and qilins, Hongjun believed that Luo Hui would prepare the bridal dress for himself.

Hunkun Patriarch took the lead disciple and circled around Bi Boluo, then sat cross-legged under the largest Bi Boluo tree in the center of the forest.
Hunkun Patriarch asked the disciple to sit cross-legged, embrace the origin and guard the oneness, while he himself was going to transmit the teaching through the symbolic pouring on the disciple's head.
Only saw Patriarch Hun Kun's dry and gaunt palm directly covering the Baihui acupoint on the head of the seated disciple, and he began to bestow the initiation, imparting the methods of practicing Zen and cultivating profound spiritual energy.

The determined and powerful Patriarch Kun raised his hands together and uttered "Good, good," followed by a mysterious proclamation, "Since you have a connection with our Western Religion, today I shall accept you into the Western Religion and allow you to enjoy the paradise of the Western Pure Land. Let us share this destined fate. Since you have no given name and have achieved enlightenment through the Buddha's radiance, let us call you Zhun Ti!"
After listening to the words of Patriarch Zhun Ti, the senior disciple, Zhun Ku, bowed and paid respects to Patriarch Zhun Ku, acknowledging his acceptance into the Western Religion under Patriarch Zhun Ku's guidance.
From this moment on, the two future saints of the Western Religion will gather together and embark on the path of expanding the Western Religion.
