Chapter 44: One Flute, Dazzling Light

Huazhu and Huohuo escaped back to Fengling Terrace, but Huohuo, whose cultivation was originally not high, could not even maintain a humanoid form after having two petals of his true body absorbed by Huangyun.
Huazhu infused a large amount of spiritual energy into the seven-petal fire lotus on her palm, but due to differences in spiritual roots, Huohuo still couldn't transform into a humanoid form.
Huazhu knew that he was not able to transform the fireworks into human form, and he touched the petals with self-blame and pity in his eyes.
"It's all my fault that I couldn't protect you."
虽说花火是不能化成人形了，但是能听到声音的，花火用自己微薄的灵力传音给花竹。
“没事的，我修养几天就可痊愈了，曾经在花州我也丢过一瓣真身，在土里躺几日就好了。”
Huazhu was surprised to find that Huohuo was still conscious. She couldn't help but smile happily, "You really are different from other flower spirits."
Being praised by Huazhu, Huohuo laid comfortably in her palm and even laughed out loud. This could be considered a blessing in disguise for Huohuo.
"But why did Shaozun come to save me in the Magic City?"
Flower Bamboo hesitated for a moment, then spoke. "Today, I sensed a surge of demonic energy in the Taihang Mountains, so I left the mountains to investigate."
“少尊，真是法力无边，既然连荒云那样的大魔头也追得上。”
就在这时花竹的花凌寒急忙的跑到花竹跟前，先是行了一个礼，然后大口喘着气。
“少尊，总算是找到你了。天帝已来太行山多时，该审查的都已审查完毕，现在正在宴席上面见各位师长呢，我怕众人说花州失礼便用一片竹叶变成了少尊的模样，让它替少尊入了席。若是少尊再不入席的话怕是要被发现了！”
花竹将花火放进了衣袖中大手一挥来到了妄天殿，大殿之外学员们整齐的站着，大殿之内则是上神们庄重威严的坐在席位上。不同的是这次妄天殿的主位上只坐了天帝一人，太行山的仙神们全座在下面。
天帝身躯凛凛，一双眼光射寒星，胸脯横阔，有万夫难敌之威风，让人看了着实敬畏。
“如今魔界易主，之前与魔界立的条约也就作废，新任魔尊正在将魔界的魔婴都培育了起来。孤希望太行山中则能培育出佼佼者，能与之抗敌………”
When the Heavenly Emperor was blabbering on, the bamboo turned into a gust of wind and replaced the "fake bamboo flowers" made of leaves. Flower Fire had never seen such a scene before and curiously conveyed this to Flower Bamboo.
"Shaozun, Shaozun, can I see what the Heavenly Emperor looks like?"
Huazhu calmly took out a firework from her sleeve and placed it on her shoulder. With this, the audience was amazed and exclaimed in wonder.
“原来天帝长这个模样呀！”
花火接着环顾了四周，发现火神也在这宴席之上并且还坐在他们对面。
天帝和师长们都在探讨着如何管理太行山一事，说话最多的也就是景炎，花竹在下面则是一言不发，除非被点到名才说出自己的观点。
The banquet ended quickly, and all the teachers returned to their residences, including Hua Zhu who was preparing to bring the fireworks back to Fengling Terrace.
On the way back to Fengling Terrace, Huo Shen stopped Hua Zhu. After exchanging a few words, Huo Shen pointed to the fireworks on Hua Zhu's shoulder and asked, "What is that, Hua Shaozun?"
Hua Zhu lowered her head and glanced at the fireworks before replying, "She is a flower fairy from Hua Zhou. She was transformed back to her original form due to serious injuries."
"She is a firework?"
Hua Zhu nodded, and joy appeared in the eyes of the God of Fire. Hua Zhu asked in confusion, "How did the God of Fire know?"
"...She was the one who introduced me to the Taihang Mountains, so naturally I could guess."
Now even Huahuo was confused. She had never revealed her true identity to the Fire God before!
The Fire God gathered his spiritual power on his fingertips and passed the power of a thousand years to Huahuo, quickly healing all of her wounds so that she was no different from normal.
火神靠近了花火一些“丫头，现在你可以变成人形了！”
就在花火正要变成人形时人快就意识到了一个问题，若是现在成了人形岂不是不能趴在花竹肩上了？
Flower Fire shook her head quickly and her real body also swung back and forth on Hua Zhu's shoulder. Seeing this, Huo Shen thought his spiritual power was not enough, and then he transferred another thousand years of spiritual power to Flower Fire.
"Miss, give it another try!"
At this point, Hanabi was burning with too much spiritual power and felt hot all over. But even so, she still didn't want to take a human form. Hanabi shook her head again, causing the Fire God to look surprised. "This shouldn't be happening."
就在火神还要给花火渡灵力时被吓得想要变成人形让火神住手，好在花竹即使将火神拦住了才让花火有惊无险。
“我的右肩现在如同火烧一般，想必小火是不能接受灵力了，她只需修养几日就好，火神不必如此劳神。”
火神这下也就作罢，他从袖中掏出一把排箫递给花竹“等这丫头醒了花少尊就把这排箫交给她吧。”
“炽光箫？这可是一品神器！火神为何要将如此高仙阶的宝物赠给小火？”
火神笑了笑“这箫在我这儿也发挥不出能力，平日里也只是用他来吹吹曲儿，见这丫头投缘便赠给她了。”
“那我就提她谢过火神了！”
花竹这下才接过炽光箫，但对火神的言语有疑惑，不知道火神出于什么目的。
